MD / Ph.D

Dr. Rhonda Schafer-McLean, MD, PhD, has been dedicated to women’s health in Bismarck since 2009, offering expert care in obstetrics, gynecology, surgery, and routine wellness. She provides compassionate, patient-centered services, from pregnancy care to in-office procedures like pap smears, biopsies, and IUD placements. Dr. Rhonda sees patients at Balance Medical and satellite clinics across North Dakota while also performing surgeries. More than a doctor, she’s a warm and trusted advocate for women, ensuring every patient feels heard and cared for. When she’s not in the clinic, she’s hosting gatherings, enjoying movie nights, or cruising the Missouri River on her one-of-a-kind pontoon, embracing life just as she encourages her patients to do.
