Recovery and Aftercare

  • A pressure bandage for 24 hours

  • Light activity restriction on the arm for a day or two

  • Occasional spotting or changes in your period (we’ll talk about this ahead of time)

If you ever decide you want the implant removed early, or want to try something different, it can be easily taken out during another quick office visit.
