What Gynecology Care Looks Like at Balance Medical
Gynecology care at Balance Medical is about meeting you where you are.
Some visits are quick and routine. Others involve longer conversations, new symptoms, or ongoing concerns. No matter the reason for your visit, you can expect time to talk, clear explanations, and care that doesn’t feel rushed.
We focus on helping you feel comfortable asking questions and confident about the plan moving forward.
Care for Everyday and Ongoing Concerns
A lot of gynecologic symptoms are common, but that doesn’t mean you have to just live with them.
We regularly help patients with things like:
- Changes in periods or heavy bleeding
- Pelvic pain or discomfort
- Hormonal changes or menopause symptoms
- Bladder or pelvic floor concerns
- Fibroids, cysts, or other abnormal findings
Sometimes the right answer is treatment. Sometimes reassurance is enough. Often it’s a mix of both. We take the time to explain what we’re seeing and what your options really are.
Preventive and Routine Care
Routine gynecology visits are an important part of staying healthy, but they’re also a chance to talk.
We provide annual exams, Pap testing, breast exams, STI testing, and preventive care. These visits are also the right time to bring up questions, changes, or concerns you may have been ignoring or unsure how to ask about.
If something feels off, this is the place to talk about it.
Reproductive and Family Planning Support
Whether you’re thinking about birth control, planning for pregnancy, or just want a better understanding of your options, we’re here to help.
That might mean talking through contraception choices, fertility questions, or next steps if getting pregnant is taking longer than expected. When in-office care is appropriate, we handle it here. When outside care is needed, we help guide referrals so you’re not left figuring things out on your own.
When Surgery Becomes Part of Care
For some patients, surgery eventually becomes the right next step.
If that happens, nothing is rushed. We talk through what’s going on, why surgery is being considered, and what your options are. You’ll know what to expect before and after, and you’ll have time to ask questions.
When possible, we focus on minimally invasive approaches to support smoother recovery and long-term results. Surgical care is always coordinated with the rest of your gynecology care.
